CHARLES CITY – A Charles City man was arrested twice over a two day span this week.

On November 9 at about 7:38 PM, police were called to the 900 block of Kelly Street for a shoplifter. William Kuhns, age 20, was arrested for fifth-degree theft.

The next day, at about 8:36 PM, police went to the 2100 block of Clarkview Drive for a welfare check. Upon arrival, police arrested Kuhns again, this time for trespassing.

Kuhns was jailed and later released as he awaits a court date in these two cases.
