FOREST CITY – A guilty plea to charges of sexual abuse of a child has sent a Minnesota man to prison for 25 years.
On Tuesday, Judge Colleen Weiland sentenced 43-year-old Jasen Maran Salin to two concurrent sentences of 25 years in a state prison after he entered guilty pleas to two charges of second degree sexual abuse of a child under the age of 12.
The alleged incidents took place in 2012. Salin has already been sent to the Iowa Medical and Classification Center in Coralville, Iowa for processing.
