OSAGE – A Northwood woman’s SUV crossed the center line on a Mitchell county road, causing an accident that sent her to the hospital.
Marica Lea Citurs, age 59 of Northwood, was southbound on Highway 218 on the afternoon of February 4 when her 2004 GMC Envoy crossed the center line and struck a 2014 International semi driven by 60-year-old Donal William Meister, Jr. of Tripoli, Iowa.
Citurs was injured and taken to Mitchell County Regional Hospital by ambulance. Her condition was not revealed. She was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident, which remains under investigation.
