AMES – A former Mohawk basketball star now playing for the Iowa State Cyclones will seek a medical redshirt this season after an injury has kept her sidelined most of the season.
In the best interest of her long-term health, sophomore guard Jadda Buckley will pursue a medical redshirt after being sidelined due to a stress injury to her right foot, the Iowa State Athletic Department said Thursday in a statement.
Buckley played in nine games for the Cyclones in 2014-15 and averaged 9.4 points. She has not played since Jan. 7.
