MASON CITY – North Iowa woman was arrested Thursday by Mason City police, and she’s worried the incident will affect her “the rest of my life”.
Mason City police were called to the Hy-Vee Drug Store at about 12:50 PM Thursday after employees reported a theft. Officers arrived and after an investigation, arrested Brianna Jo Lenz of Manly on a charge of fifth degree theft.
Lenz was jailed and soon released on bond pending a court date.
Lenz took to social media after her release, saying “nothing will ever be the same I’m going yo have this over my head the rest of my life and I’ll never get a job agiab” (sic). She claimed to have started a cashier job at Wal-Mart on November 21 but was already looking for a new job.
