Sheffield man accused of trailer thefts to stand trial in January

MASON CITY – A Sheffield man facing a total of 6 felony theft charges will stand trial next year.

A jury trial for Blake Brady, age 19, has been scheduled for January 27th, 2015. Brady faces a total of 6 felony second degree theft charges, brought by Mason City police and Cerro Gordo sheriff’s office. Brady was last arrested on November 10 at NIACC campus in connection to the theft of a trailer. Brady is accused of stealing a number of trailers from the Mason City area over the last three months and then attempting to sell them online.

Brady has pleaded not guilty and has been released on bond until his trial.
