CLEAR LAKE – A Clear Lake man was arrested this past weekend for assault while displaying a weapon.
Clinton Earl Fouts, age 38, was arrested by Clear Lake police Sunday evening after an investigation into an assault where Fouts allegedly displayed an undisclosed weapon.
Fouts was jailed and later posted $2,000 surety bond. He awaits a November 14 hearing in court.
Fouts is facing fourth degree theft charges at this tim in Polk county, as well. Third degree theft charges brought against Fouts by Clear Lake police earlier this year were dismissed.
