Manly woman pleads guilty to theft at Kohls

MASON CITY – A woman from Manly has pled guilty to shoplifting at a Mason City department store.

Lindsey Sheila Ruth Samuelson, age 21, pled guilty on June 30 to a charge of fifth degree theft. Police said she attempted to steal a $14.00 clothing item on June 15th, around 4:40 PM, when Kohls employees reported to police that she was detained for shoplifting.

Samuelson, who works at the Buckle at Southbridge Mall, was assessed $470.50 in fines and court costs, and last month was notified that she was past due on paying the balance.
