CC police nab former Chicago woman after shoplifting incident

CHARLES CITY – Two women were arrested Monday afternoon after a shoplifting incident.

Charles City police responded to a shoplifting complaint Monday at about 5:00 PM at the 1400 block of Grand Avenue. Police arrested 20-year-old Feltisha Kolheim, formerly of Chicago and now living in Charles City, for fifth degree theft. Police also discovered a wanted woman, 22-year-old Crystal Humm of Charles City, who was wanted on a valid Iowa State Patrol warrant.

Kolheim was released Tuesday on her own recognizance. Records do not indicate a court date.

Kolheim had a felony charge of domestic abuse involving strangulation dismissed in January. That alleged incident took place on November 24, 2013, after Charles City police responded to the 500 block of South Main Street.
