ROCK FALLS – A car with an alleged drunk driver and two underage drinkers was stopped early Saturday by law enforcement.
Cooper Eugene Robinson, age 18 of Manly, was pulled over Saturday morning at about 1 AM in Rock Falls at Riverside Drive and River Street by a Cerro Gordo Deputy. After an investigation, the officer determined that Robinson was under the influence, and he was placed under arrest with charges of second offense operating while under the influence, driving with a suspended license, and underage possession of alcohol. He remained in the Cerro Gordo County Jail Saturday, held on $2,000 cash bond.
Two passengers in Robinson’s vehicle were cited for possession of alcohol under the legal age.
Earlier this month, Robinson was cited in Winnebago county for underage possession of alcohol and is awaiting a court date. He has also been charged with attempted burglary, possession of drug paraphernalia, underage smoking and unlawfully passing a school bus.
