WATERLOO – A Waterloo girl reported to police last week that a group of black men tried to grab her as she walked to school and drag her into an abandoned house.
According to police, on Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at approximately 8:00 AM, a 14 year old female student arrived at East High School, 214 High Street, Waterloo and reported that two men tried to grab her. The victim stated she was walking to school near the intersection of Argyle Street and Iowa Street, when she approached a group of five males. Two of the males grabbed her and tried to drag her towards an abandoned house. She pulled away from them and ran to school where she reported it to authorities.
Waterloo Police immediately checked the area for the men, but they were not located. The suspects are black males. No other description was given by the victim.
