MASON CITY – The North Iowa Youth Center on Sunday, July 7th celebrated 15 years serving the North Iowa Community.
Director Regan Banks thanked the people of North Iowa and Mason City Honda and other sponsors for helping him and the youth center become a success.
The event featured door prizes, booths with activities, face painting, inflatables, juggling, the Mason City Fire Department and refreshments. Prizes included a Kindle Fire, a boys bike, a girls bike, movie passes, roller skates and more.
Mr. Banks received a plaque of recognition from Mayor Eric Bookmeyer. State Senator Amanda Ragan was also on hand for the celebration.

Thanks Regan and to Matt for covering this event. The Glob or KIMT didn’t even bother to show up. Regan and Annette have provided a wonderful service to the youth in the community for 15 years and the media should have been there. Eric Bookmeyer showed up for a whopping ten minutes to give the plaque. Again kudos to Regan and Annette! Thank you so much for everything you do!
