MASON CITY – Once again this year, the Kinney Pioneer Museum will be offering an “Olde Fashion Ice Cream Social.”
Organizers of the event promise “homemade, delicious ice cream, old hand crank freezers, homemade cakes, bars, and cookies to add more sweetness to your palate!”
Organizers noted that the event is taking place at “a new time of the year this year,” but to expect no less from the goodies offerd.
“The same delicious home made ice cream, made in the museum. And you and the kids can help, cranking the old fashion hand crank ice cream freezer, adding ice and salt. Also great homemade cake, bars, and cookies to add to your pleasure.”
The ice cream social is set for July 14th, from 1 PM to 5 PM.
The Kinney Pioneer Museum is located at the entrance to Mason City Municipal Airport.
