WASHINGTON – Congressman Steve King questioned witnesses Thursday at a Congressional subcommittee hearing on the No Taxpayer Funding for Abortion Act.
Bill H.R. 7 would prohibit taxpayer funded abortions. It has 144 cosponsors, including Rep. King.
The bill was assigned to a congressional committee on May 14, 2013, which will consider it before possibly sending it on to the House or Senate as a whole. The bill has a very slim chance of ever becoming law.
