The trouble began on December 12th, when police were called just before midnight to the residence for a domestic altercation. According to police, there was “a verbal dispute between subjects. Both subjects decline(d) officers suggestions and advice. Both subjects will sleep it off in two different rooms.”

The next day, officers were called back to the residence at about 3:00 PM for another domestic altercation. The “male party” Joshua Joe Jennings was arrested and charged with felony domestic abuse assault involving strangulation. Jennings posted $2,000 cash bond on December 16th and was released.

Police were called back to the residence on December 14th and December 16th to provide standbys for property recovery.

Then, on December 19th at about 1:29 AM, police were called once again to the residence for a report of suspicion.

On December 20th, officers spoke with the landlord of the residence about “tenant issues.”

On December 22nd,  resident of 718 North Tyler called police and reported that she “thought someone was messing with her outside house power box.  Officer checked the house and power box does not appear to be tamper with.  Told caller to give Alliant Energy a call.”
