MASON CITY – A potential peeping tom was chased out of a North End Mason City neighborhood this weekend.
Early Saturday morning, just after midnight, near 5th Street NW and Monroe Avenue, three Cerro Gordo county sheriff’s deputies located a suspicious person looking into windows with a flashlight.
The subject was advised not to be looking on anyone else’s property and to go home.
Mason City police assisted at the scene.
Residents are advised to call police when suspicious activity is noticed.
I’m sure the article was taken from a police/sheriff report of the actual event, not something that was made up by the NIT staff.
Very informative article. My 8yr old could of wrote it.
What an idiot.
