DALLAS COUNTY – An Iowa man was killed in an auto wreck involving his Chevy Impala and a power pole.
Dallas county sheriff Adam Infante reports that on January 24, 2025, at approximately 2:31 AM, dispatch received a call about a single roll over car accident at the intersection of Highway 141 and R Avenue near Woodward.
Deputies located a 2005 Chevy Impala that had struck a power pole and rolled multiple times. Deputies also located a deceased male inside of the vehicle. The male has been identified as 22-year-old Josue Curiel of Perry, Iowa.
The cause and circumstances of the accident remain under investigation.
Curiel was transported to the State Medical Examiners office for further investigation.
The Dallas County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by Dallas County EMS, the Perry Police Department, and the Woodward Fire Department.
