MASON CITY – In celebration of its 20th Anniversary, the Mason City Earth Day Committee has planned a special public presentation on Monday, April 22 at 6 p.m. at the Mason City Public Library (Mason City Room).
Former Iowa Hawkeye football star Tim Dwight will be the guest speaker. Dwight was an All Big 10 and All American performer at the University of Iowa and played ten seasons in the National Football League.
Dwight currently owns and operates Integrated Power Corporation, a solar firm that performs business with commercial, industrial and utility customers.
Dwight enjoys community efforts regarding sustainability, education, healthy choices, and is a big advocate of renewable energy, which will be the focus of his presentation.
