FRANKLIN COUNTY – A crash Monday in Franklin county injured 6 people.
The incident occurred at the 157 mile marker on Interstate 35 at 7:15 AM.
According to an Iowa State Patrol report, a semi-truck traveling southbound on the interstate approached a southbound Ford van driven by a New Mexico man, Homero Aranda, age 29. The semi rear-ended the van and sent it into the median where it rolled over.
Six persons, all from New Mexico, were injured and transported to area hospitals in Iowa Falls and Hampton.
