MASON CITY – The 2026 Cerro Gordo County Republican Precinct Caucuses will be held on Monday, February 2, 2026 at 7 P.M. All Cerro Gordo County precincts will report to Mason City High School, 1700 4th St SE, Mason City, Iowa.

The Precinct caucuses will perform the following functions:

A. Elect 2 persons, Republican residents of the precinct to serve on the County Central Committee.

B. Elect 2 delegates and 2 alternate delegates to the Cerro Gordo County Republican
Convention held on Saturday, March 7, 2026.

C. Propose and vote on platform planks to send to County Convention.

Voter Registration forms will be available to register or to update your information.

The Iowa Republican caucuses are local, in-person party meetings held every two years to initiate the presidential nominating process, select county convention delegates, and set the party platform. They function as a grassroots, closed, secret-ballot contest that gauges candidate viability and builds momentum early in the election cycle.
