MASON CITY – A new business is under construction on Mason City’s west side.
A small structure is being built just east of the North Iowa Community Credit near the Wal-Mart shopping center in the Indianhead development.
According to a city official, the the building will be used for a nail salon. It is “a very small triangle-shaped building,” NIT was told. The name of the business will be Tony’s Nails.
Momberg Construction of Mason City is the general contractor.
All this will do is add to the raffic problems on this corner. There are lot of empty buildings out there that would have worked for a nail salon.

What you’re looking at here is some of the most expensive land around for miles and miles. Enormous traffice count, new construction cost and this is all justified by only fixing your nails?
