DES MOINES – A burn ban that was set in Franklin county on July 17th was lifted on Monday at 10AM by Steve O’Neil, Emergency Management Coordinator in Franklin County. A burn ban in Winnebago county was also lifted Monday by Mark Johnson, Forest City Fire Chief.
A burn ban is still in effect for Cerro Gordo county as well as much of the upper north west corner of Iowa.
