MASON CITY – Jason Christenson, shared IT Director for both the Mason City and Clear Lake School Districts has been named to the AEA 267 InfoTech Advisory Committee.
The Clear Lake and Mason City Schools developed a sharing agreement this past spring to share services of Jason Christenson, IT Director. Jason has served as the IT Director in Clear Lake since 2006. Both districts are grateful for Jason’s leadership, training, infrastructure design, support for staff and technology information skills.
Jason Christenson, shared IT Director for both the Mason City and Clear Lake School Districts has been named to the AEA 267 InfoTech Advisory Committee. This committee is comprised of three Administrators, three Technology Coordinators/Directors, and one Teacher-Librarian.
Committee members will advise the InfoTech Service Area on matters related to information and technology services provided by the AEA. In the process, members learn more about AEA 267 services, new products and new initiatives.
The commitment is for a 3-year term. This year, the committee will meet September 19 in the Marshalltown AEA office, January 30 in the Cedar Falls AEA office and April 24 in the Clear Lake AEA office. All meetings run from 9:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
