MASON CITY – A convicted Minnesota drug dealer on the prowl in Mason City was nabbed by police Tuesday with powerful narcotics and charged with felony intent to distribute.

Mason City police conducted a traffic stop Tuesday of 54-year-old Scott Evan Caulfield at the Casey’s General Store, located at 1607 South Federal Avenue at about 10:30 PM.  During the course of the traffic stop, methamphetamine was found.  Caulfield was arrested and charged with felony B possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.  He was taken to the Cerro Gordo County Jail, where he remains this week on $25,000 bond.  He awaits a January 31 court date.

Caulfield was convicted in Minnesota in 2004 of a third degree controlled substance violation and a second degree controlled substance violation after getting caught selling cocaine in a Rochester, MN bar in 2001.

They got another one. Good job by law enforcement. Since when did it become good to advocate breaking the law?

Anyone see anything wrong with the address of Kum and Go? The one on S. Federal is on the 1900 block. Did they mean Caseys? Check all facts on a story.

Do you geniuses remember Prohibition? Nobody wants to defend alcoholism, but this is not the same thing. Go on-line and view the time-lapse booking photos of meth-heads.

Alcohol burns your mind out. It’s like pouring gasoline into your head.
That’s the “commercial” they should have kept showing. Rather then that egg in a frying pan, representing your brain on drugs.
That’s why no one believes the government. They want you to buy their poison rather then somebody elses.
