Central Park look great but you could fire A cannon through it most of the time and never hit a soul. I have never seen more than 4 people at any one time in the park (excluding the bus station) unless there was a special function going on. What a waste of capital. Don’t misunderstand, I love central park and have many memories of it from when I was young. Playing checkers with the retired guys and all the people that used to go there. Those days are dead and gone and we need to quit trying to resurect them.

While both these projects were long and very painful they actually both turned out pretty nice. The Park Inn is beautiful and the streetscape is unique.Central Park looks great too. When most of the buildings get new facades our downtown is going to be awesome.

as long as “Main Street Mason City is proud to accept these awards along with our community partners.”

how about they be just as proud to pay $53,000,000 of the cost to the people of Mason City?

I DID NOT THINK SO…………………….
