HAMPTON – The Easter Bunny, along with Easter Granny made an appearance in Hampton at the Bandshell park Saturday afternoon.
Along with the Easter Bunny, there was an Easter Egg Hunt and a drawing for bigger Easter baskets.
Grace Fahrmann (pictured) had her picture taken with the Bunny twosome. Her mother, Mindy said, “The Easter Bunny and Easter Granny came to Grace’s preschool too. They danced around and had alot of fun.” Grace nodded her head in agreement.
The ground around the Bandshell was filled with Easter Eggs. Colored eggs, plastic eggs and Malted Milk eggs. The signal was given and the children ran to get as many as they could. It didn’t take long before they were all picked up.
Addison and Ava Johnson from Apple Valley (pictured, right) were there getting their share. Addison was a little shy for the camera, but Ava showed her eggs. Ava’s name was also drawn for one of the bigger Easter baskets.
Around the area, there were some Easter Bunny Helpers. They were handing out extra candy to the children. The children accepted it with big smiles.
Easter Granny talked for the Easter Bunny because he isn’t able to talk. She understands him and was able to tell us, “The Easter Bunny had a real good time with all the children. He doesn’t believe the chill and the little bit of rain dampened the Egg Hunt fun at all.”
