WASHINGTON – Senator Tom Harkin, Chairman of the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee, today appeared at a Capitol Hill media availability with U.S. Senators Patrick Leahy (D-VT), Jack Reed (D-RI), and Charles Schumer (D-NY). The three discussed the day’s proceedings as well as the conservative origin of the health insurance individual mandate.
