MASON CITY – City council member Don Nelson has asked City Administrator Brent Trout to provide a list of his accomplishments for the previous year as City Administrator.
Nelson also wants a list of Trout’s “personal goals” for the next year. It could be assumed these goals would involve Mason City and it’s growth and betterment.
The City Administrator is accountable to oversee the day-to-day management of the operations of the City and that City services are delivered and provided to the citizens efficiently and effectively.
Trout recently had his annual “performance appraisal” with the city council.
Nelson says that “the value of personal goal setting in your work as our City Administrator, I believe it has value.”
