If age is a factor, and I repeat, if, in your consideration to nominate the candidates being brought forward by the Human Rights Director, it isn’t reflected in your past nominations.
In the past 13 months, approximately 36 appointments and re-appointments have been brought forward by you, and approved by the City Council so serve on Committees/Boards and Commissions.
Of the approximately 36, approximately 28 were re-appointments and approximately 8 new appointments.
Age factor, best I can determine, knowing some of the citizens you nominated, age wasn’t a factor on your appointments or re-appointments, at least until now.
