College Baseball: Iowa Hawkeyes fall to Illinois, 4-2; eliminated form Big Ten Tournament
OMAHA, Neb. – The University of Iowa baseball team was defeated by Illinois, 4-2, in 10 innings on Thursday afternoon at Charles Schwab Field. The Hawkeyes dropped their second straight extra innings game (Michigan) to be eliminated from the Big Ten Tournament.

University of Iowa to hold ribbon-cutting ceremony for Goschke Family Wrestling Training Center
IOWA CITY – The University of Iowa will host a dedication and ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of the Goschke Family Wrestling Training Center. The new training center for the Hawkeyes men’s and women’s wresting programs sits adjacent to Carver-Hawkeye Arena.
Iowans to lower flags to half-staff in honor of DOT worker Matthew Dickerson
Flags will be at half-staff on the State Capitol Building and on flag displays in the Capitol Complex. Flags will also be half-staff on all public buildings, grounds and facilities throughout the state.

CLEAR LAKE – Two men driving pickup trucks collided near Clear Lake Monday morning, resulting in both suffering injuries.

DES MOINES – Police in Iowa’s capitol city are searching for clues after a handicapped, homeless woman was found shot to death this weekend.
