IOWA CITY – The University of Iowa Athletics Department announced on Thursday a new partnership with BEST Crowd Management, a GardaWorld company and a leading provider of crowd management and event security services, to provide guest and event security services beginning July 1, 2024.
BEST Crowd Management is hiring more than 500 guest services and event security positions for immediate placement for events at Kinnick Stadium, Carver-Hawkeye Arena, and other athletics facilities on campus.
Opportunities include staffing Hawkeye football games, men’s and women’s basketball games, volleyball, baseball, softball, soccer, track and field, concerts, and other scheduled university events. BEST is prepared to assist with such as customer service, ticket scanning, ushering services and various security roles that contribute to critical crowd management functions.
