
PACKWOOD, IOWA – An Iowa teen was tragically killed in a head-on collision when her Toyota crossed the center line of a rural road and struck a pickup truck.
According to the Iowa State Patrol, the accident took place on May 29, 2025. At 7:35 AM that morning, a 2003 Toyota Camry driven by 17-year-old Ava Eleanor Ford of Packwood, Iowa, was traveling southbound on Packwood Road near Packwood, Iowa, when for unknown reasons, the Camry crossed the center line of the road. The Toyota then struck head-on, a 1999 Dodge Ram pickup truck driven by 40-year-old Clinton Weaver of Lancaster, Missouri.
As a result of the crash, Eva Ford was killed. Weaver was injured and taken to University of Iowa hospitals by helicopter for treatment.
