Terry Brandt, 51, of Charles City, IA and formerly of Decorah, IA passed away unexpectedly on Friday, February 7, 2025 at his home. A private celebration of life will be held at a later date and Terry will be laid to rest next to his mother at Union Prairie Cemetery in Decorah.
Terry worked for John Hayes for many years helping the community of Charles City and any friends in need of an extra hand. He was a “Jack of all trades,” per se, whether it was painting a house, driving someone to a doctor’s appointment or helping out at the golf course, he did it all. Terry was an avid collector of anything with wolves and eagles and loved patriotic themes of red, white and blue.
Terry was very loved and will be greatly missed by his family and friends (too many to list).
Those left to cherish his memory include his father, Jim Brandt of Decorah; sister, Peggy Huntley of Rockford; step-brother, Steve Fritz and step-sister, Lori Christiansen Fritz; several aunts, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother Mary.
