Lois Elizabeth Boullion, 62, of Tripoli, died Friday, February 7, 2025, at Unity Point/Allen Memorial Hospital in Waterloo.
Per Lois’ request, no formal services will be held.
Lois Elizabeth was born September 12, 1962, granddaughter to Ida Schlichting. Lois began her professional career as an over the road truck driver and it was while doing this that she met Kenneth Boullion. On May 21, 1989, the couple was united in marriage at Faith United Church of Christ in Tripoli. To this union, two daughters were born: Kayla and Carrie.
Lois took great pride in continuing the legacy of her family. Her generational home, built in 1940 and passed down through her family, was the perfect spot to raise her daughters and her two beloved pups, Kilo and Kali. She could always be found deep into a mental challenge on her puzzle games and spoiling her two dogs as they sat beside her.
Lois is survived by her husband, Kenneth of Tripoli; daughters, Kayla Boullion of Columbus, Ohio and Carrie Boullion of Bettendorf; and sister, Vanda (Tom) Blankenship of Jesup; and faithful dogs, Kilo and Kali.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Lyle Lampe.
