CHARLES CITY – A Charles City woman wanted on serious charges was nabbed by police in a traffic stop.
On November 12, 2024, at 5:48 AM, officers with the Charles City police department conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of E Street and 3rd Avenue. As a result of the stop and investigation, officers arrested 19-year-old Kalia Nicole Richards of Charles City. Police say Richards is wanted out of Muscatine, Iowa, on charges of felony second-degree theft and forgery.
Richards (pictured at top) was jailed, but records show she has bonded out.
