A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday September 4, 2024 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 329 E State St, Mason City, IA 50401.
Beth was born April 11, 1981 in Mason City, daughter of Texas Newman and Louann (King) Hildman. She graduated from Mason City High School with the class of 1999. She later went on to study at NIACC and earned her degree as a CNA as well as an additional degree in coding. Beth was united in marriage to Victor Alarcon in May of 2007 in Mason City. To this union they were blessed with two sons, Antonio and Javier.
Beth absolutely loved to read. Fantasy romance novels were very present in her home. She was proud to have helped her author friends edit their works from time to time. Her family fondly remembers her outspoken nature. There was no guessing what was on her mind or what she thought about something. She’d be the first to tell you exactly what she thought. Beth loved her family dearly; even though she put them through their paces on occasion there was never any doubt that she loved them with all her heart. She was very proud of her two boys and made sure they were raised to take on the world.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Victor; sons, Antonio and Javier; parents, Texas and Louann; brother, Nathan (Jennifer) Newman; niece and nephew Clay and Evelyn Newman; grandmother, Carol King; aunts Susanne (Doug) Hauge, Sally (James) Harbeck, and Michele Thenhaus; uncles, Roger (Margaret) Newman, Darrell Newman, and Jack Newman; as well as many friends and extended family.
Preceding her in death are her paternal grandparents, Victor and Adeline Newman; and maternal grandfather, Jerry King.
