POLK COUNTY – A Northern Iowa woman died in a recent Polk county auto accident.
Authorities say the accident took place Friday, August 23, 2024, near the intersection of NW 44th Street and NW 126th Avenue outside Polk City, Iowa.
25-year-old Trey Joseph Ridgeway of Ankeny and 23-year-old Jayden Anna Hughes of Clear Lake were both killed when their vehicle crashed and became engulfed in flames.
Police are continuing to investigate the incident.
