WATERLOO – A person was shot dead at Waterloo convenience store Saturday night.
On Saturday, January 8th, 2022, at 9:57 AM, Waterloo Police Officers responded to a shooting in progress at 508 Broadway Street, Waterloo, Iowa, a convenience store. Officers arrived on scene and found the victim had been shot numerous times. Offficers rendered aid until the Waterloo Fire Department arrrived and took over.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene of the incident by the Waterloo Fire Department.
The name of the victim is not being released at this time pending notification of family.
