COLUMBUS, OHIO – Iowa was beaten in a road Big Ten Conference game Thursday against Ohio State, 92-87.
The Iowa Hawkeyes (10-5, 6-5) fell to No. 11/13 Ohio State (10-2, 6-2). Four Hawkeyes scored in double figures, including freshman Caitlin Clark (30), junior Monika Czinano (14), junior Tomi Taiwo (13), and sophomore McKenna Warnock (12). Taiwo’s 13 points are a career-high.
Clark recorded her fifth 30-point game this season and was one assist shy of a double-double.
Sophomore Gabbie Marshall recorded a game-high three steals.
The Hawkeyes held the Buckeyes to seven steals – the fewest in a game this season for Ohio State.
Former Mason City Mohawk Megan Meyer was held scoreless in the game, playing 8:49.
