Charles City police brought charges of first-degree theft and second degree theft against 33-year-old Cassandra Marie Lane of Charles City this month. The alleged crimes of transferring funds belonging to others at the First Security Bank and Trust into an account connected to her began in October of 2016 until august of 2017.
Lane was arrested last week and soon posted a cash bond and was released. No court date has been set in this case.
