HOWARD COUNTY, IOWA – A Northern Iowa man died in a pickup truck crash in Howard county.
According to the Iowa State Patrol, the accident took place on Sunday, March 23, 2025. At 5:26 PM that evening, near Valley Avenue north of 90th Street, 38-year-old Tyler Timothy Johnson of Cresco, Iowa, was driving a 2013 Ford F150 northbound on Valley Avenue. As he was crossing the Silver Creek bridge, the truck struck the east guardrail, then rolled and came to rest on the driver’s side.
As a result of the collision, Johnson was killed.
