On Saturday, January 28, 2017 at 12:58 AM, officers with the Fort Dodge Police Department were dispatched to 22 North 12th Street in reference to a shooting. Upon arrival, officers found a male subject that had been the victim of a gunshot. The male, whose name is not being released at this time, was transported to Unity Point Trinity Regional Medical Center for treatment. The victim’s condition is unknown at this time.
The Fort Dodge Police Department is continuing the investigation and is requesting anyone with information to come forward.
