ACKLEY, IOWA – Law enforcement descended upon a house in Ackley, Iowa and discovered illicit drugs and all the makings to deal it, leading to the arrest of a woman.
On the evening of Monday, August 8th, 2016, the Ackley Police Department, Ackley Police K-9 Lear, and the Hard. County Sheriffs Department executed a Search Warrant at 814 Sherman Avenue in Ackley Iowa. During this search glass pipes with residue, snorting straws, several electronic sales with white powdery residue, a large quantity of tiny individual plastic bags, a small bag with white powder, a hand held torch, lighters, spoons with residue, cellular phones and some papers with hand written information were seized as evidence.
Nicole Ann Puentes-Morales (aka Nicole Willes) age 35 of Ackley Iowa was charged with Possession with Intent to Deliver Methamphetamine (a Class C Felony), Possession of Methamphetamine (a Serious Misdemeanor), and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (a Simple Misdemeanor). She was taken into custody and transported to the Hardin County Jail. The incident remains under investigation
