MASON CITY – Andy O’Brien, community and business leader who is running for the at-large City Council seat in Mason City, will be hosting a community conversation this Thursday evening at 6 p.m at Dustin Colby Park in Central Heights in Mason City.

“I’m very excited to meet the citizens of Mason City, I plan to give a brief overview of my candidacy and why I am running for City Council, listen to their concerns and try to answer and address their questions,” O’Brien stated. He has repeatedly said that the city and it’s citizens need to find common ground so it can move forward and grow. He also stated, “Central Heights is one of the last neighborhoods where infrastructure is a concern with very little curb, gutter or concrete streets”.

Dustin Colby Park is located at 2970 S. Hoover, Mason City. The public is invited to attend at no cost.

  1. Action Coach isn’t dubious, it’s his self employment. Lots of good ideas come from his classes. Go sometime and find out.

  2. “Andy O’Brien, community and business leader”?
    Of what?
He hasn’t been involved with operations of O’Brien Moving & Storage in over 20 years.
And that ActionCoach thing is a dubious deal at best.

However he is willing to meet & greet so that is a plus.

Hey Marquardt, you going to attend and cover this ?
