Garner woman pleads guilty in meth case

GARNER – A Garner woman has entered a guilty plea in a meth case.

Britt, Iowa police charged 38-year-old Amy Jo Ulven of Garner with possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver back in May of 2015. After numerous court proceedings and postponements of trial, Ulven finally entered a guilty plea and was arrested by Kossuth county deputies on January 26 for contempt of court.

Records show Ulven in now in jail in Kossuth county. She was placed on probation for a year after a guilty plea last April to possession of contraband in a correctional institution.

Ulven will be sentenced in the meth case on March 22.
