MASON CITY – A Mason City man was arrested Sunday evening for public intoxication and immediately entered a guilty plea.
Police were called to the area of 12th Street NE and Plymouth road Sunday just before 8 PM after a caller reported a suspicious individual. Police arrived and found 39-year-old Joseph Dean Yezek. Officers determined he was intoxicated and arrested him on a charge of public intoxication. He was brought to the county jail for processing and released.
On Monday, April 6, Yezek entered a guilty plea. He was ordered to pay $262.50 in fines and court costs.
