MASON CITY – Police were called to a Mason City residence Sunday night for a domestic incident and arrested a man.
An emergency call alerted law enforcement to a domestic situation Sunday evening, March 5 at about 7:30 PM at 203 25th Street SW. Upon arrival, Mason City police officers investigated the incident and arrested 49-year-old Todd Allen Dutcher on a charge of serious domestic assault.
Dutcher was taken to the county jail for processing. A judge set a no-contact order, and Dutcher was released from jail pending a hearing on April 24.
Dutcher has been previously convicted of felonies connected to the delivery of methamphetamine.
