Cops investigate break-in, knife threat

investigateMASON CITY – Police investigated an alleged break-in Sunday afternoon after a man made an emergency phone call and said a local criminal had broke down his door and threatened his life with a knife.

An emergency call was made from a male subject Sunday at about 1:30 PM saying he had fled his apartment at the 400 block of 6th Street SE. The man told dispatchers that a local violent felon had “kicked in” his door and threatened his life with a knife. The man was able to flee the apartment but the assailant stayed behind.

Police were summoned to the scene and arrived several minutes later, only to find the apartment empty. No arrest was made, and it is not known if police are investigating further.

This idiot did the same thing early this morning only this time with a hammer. Last Monday he threatened a Mentally challenged person and threatened to break into their house as well.

I should give him my address.
