Mason City woman caught drunk driving, can’t wait to leave town

MASON CITY – A Mason City woman was caught drunk driving early Saturday, after earlier saying she can’t wait to leave town.

Ashley K. Mills, age 29, was stopped for drunk driving Saturday around 4:00 AM. Officers were dispatched for after Mills collided with a pole at the 900 block of North Penn Ave. A state reportable accident was completed. Mills was charged with operating while under the influence and failure to show insurance and jailed, before being released a few hours later.

A couple weeks earlier, Mills described her displeasure with living in Mason City.

“Can’t wait to be moved out of this rat whole we call home “mason shitty” so many rats, drug dealers and down right just nasty dirty ppl with no respect for others,” Mills wrote via social media. “If I could light the bitch on fire when I left I would! No faith in anyone anymore!”
