DES MOINES — Taco John’s of Iowa, the owner of the Mason City CherryBerry Yogurt store, has decided to close its Mason City store at the end of the business day tomorrow, Tuesday, Oct. 14. According to Founder Bill Byrne, the company is repositioning its capital as it simultaneously acquires additional Taco John’s restaurants.

“The financial performance of the frozen yogurt sector, our stores included, has been disappointing,” Byrne said. “With our pending acquisition it became more important to us that we realign our capital and human resources to better maximize our return on investment.”

The specifics of the coming acquisition are still confidential. Byrne did say, however, that the Taco John’s acquisition is scheduled to be completed in November.

Why are they closing it though? Everybody loves Cherry Berry 🙁 </3

seriously overpriced produc. Should have closed earlier. And lol at the dummy thinking another taco johns would make it on the west side. I’m surprised the other one hasn’t closed yet. So many better places to get tacos

So is there a chance we will be getting another taco johns on the west side of town?

Are you on drugs?

This town has as more taco joints than used car sales lots. The business that are making the big money are the places that sell toilet paper.
